Business Payment Decision Makers - UK

Project Type: Web Survey

Honorarium: 40 USD

Time Commitment: 20 mins

Description

We are conducting a short research study, commissioned by a client of Woozle Research, into how businesses accept and process payments online. We are looking to speak with professionals who have a meaningful say in payment decisions at their organisation — this includes founders, owners and partners of small businesses, C-suite executives such as CEOs, COOs, CFOs, CTOs, CPOs and CMOs, as well as VPs, directors, heads of function and managers working in finance, operations, product, engineering, IT, marketing or sales. Roles with direct payments responsibility are especially relevant, including payments managers, payment operations managers, treasury managers, financial or revenue operations managers, and e-commerce or digital commerce managers. To qualify, you should work at a smaller company — broadly up to around 100 employees, with annual revenues up to approximately one million — and be based in the United Kingdom, or in some cases France or Germany. If payment acceptance, checkout, or payment processing decisions form part of your remit, whether you own the decision outright or contribute to it, your perspective would be valuable.

The survey explores how organisations of this size think about accepting payments online. Themes will include the payment methods and channels you currently support, the factors that matter most when selecting or reviewing a payment provider, how commercial terms and costs are weighed against reliability, integration effort and customer experience, and how satisfied you are with your current set-up. We will also touch on general perceptions of providers in the market, how such decisions are typically made and reviewed internally, and the circumstances that might prompt a business to change or add a provider. There are no right or wrong answers — we are interested in your genuine day-to-day experience and view of the market.

Participation takes the form of an online survey lasting approximately 20 minutes, completed at a time that suits you. It can be taken on either desktop or mobile, and consists of a structured set of closed and short open-ended questions. Fieldwork is running over the coming weeks and responses are treated confidentially, reported only in aggregate alongside those of other participants. Participants who complete the survey and qualify receive an honorarium of USD 40 in recognition of their time.
