Project Type: Web Survey
Honorarium: 40 USD
Time Commitment: 20 mins
We are conducting a study on behalf of an institutional client of Woozle Research focused on the biotechnology and life sciences research sector. We are looking to speak with senior professionals who lead or work closely within biotech organisations and research institutions — including heads of research and development, laboratory and scientific directors, principal investigators, and senior operational or commercial leaders whose remit covers research programmes, budgets, or supplier relationships. Relevant employers include biotechnology firms, pharmaceutical and life sciences companies, contract research organisations, and academic or independent research institutes. The ideal respondent is someone with direct, current visibility into how research priorities are set and how decisions are made within their organisation, rather than a purely observational or advisory vantage point. If you hold a leadership role in a biotech or research environment and can speak to your organisation's activities from first-hand experience, you are likely to qualify; if your exposure to the sector is second-hand or historic, this study is unlikely to be a good fit.
The survey will explore themes relating to the current state and direction of biotech and research organisations. Topics are expected to include organisational priorities and how they are evolving, budget and resourcing dynamics, decision-making processes and the criteria that shape them, supplier and partner selection, adoption of new tools and technologies, and the broader operating conditions and headwinds affecting the sector. We are interested in your professional judgement and observations from your own organisation and market. There are no right or wrong answers, and we do not ask for confidential, proprietary, or client-identifying information at any point.
The study is conducted as an online web survey, taking approximately twenty minutes to complete, comprising a short screening section followed by a manageable set of multiple-choice and short open-text questions. It can be completed at a time that suits you, on desktop or mobile, and does not require any preparation. The survey is open now and responses are being collected on a rolling basis. Participants who qualify and complete the survey in full receive an honorarium of USD 40.00. All responses are treated confidentially and reported only in aggregate.
