Project Type: Web Survey
Honorarium: 25 EUR
Time Commitment: 8 mins
We are conducting a short online study, commissioned by a client of Woozle Research, into how organisations in Austria choose and work with external testing, inspection and certification providers, quality labels and product standards. We are looking to speak with professionals based in Austria who hold direct, joint or advisory responsibility for these decisions within their organisation — that is, sole decision-makers, members of a decision-making group or committee, or key influencers whose input shapes the final choice. Relevant sectors include textile manufacturing, spinning, weaving and processing; apparel and fashion brands, retail and garment manufacturing; personal protective equipment; and flooring, carpets and interior textiles. Typical job functions include executive management and C-level leadership, heads of quality management or quality assurance, procurement and sourcing leads, compliance, regulatory affairs or legal specialists, sustainability, CSR and ESG managers, and product development or technical directors. Companies of all sizes are in scope, from small firms of fewer than 100 employees through to organisations with 500 or more. If you are not personally involved in selecting or influencing the choice of testing, certification or labelling partners, this study will not be a fit.
The survey explores how these decisions are made in practice: the criteria that matter most when selecting a testing or certification partner, how providers and quality labels are evaluated and compared, and the role that regulatory requirements, customer expectations and sustainability considerations play. We are also interested in general awareness and perceptions of providers active in this space, the circumstances under which organisations review or change partners, and how commercial and service factors feed into those judgements. The aim is to understand current market practice across the Austrian market; there are no right or wrong answers, and we are simply looking for your candid professional view.
The study is a self-completion online survey lasting approximately eight minutes, made up of a short, largely closed-ended set of questions. It can be completed on any device, at a time that suits you, and fieldwork is running over the coming days. No personally identifying information is collected, and responses are used in aggregate for research purposes only. Participants receive an honorarium of EUR 25 in recognition of their time.
