Clover POS Partners

Project Type: Voice Survey

Honorarium: 150 USD

Time Commitment: 20 mins

Description

We are conducting a research study, commissioned by a client of Woozle Research, into the partner and reseller ecosystem for Clover point-of-sale solutions across North America and, to a lesser extent, the UK. We are looking to speak with professionals who sell, resell or distribute Clover hardware and software as part of their commercial offering. This includes people working within the merchant services arms of banks, independent sales organisations (ISOs) registered with a merchant acquirer, certified Clover dealers and merchant services providers (MSPs) in Canada, and, less commonly, businesses that resell POS hardware without providing back-end acquiring or processing services. Relevant roles include sales leadership, partnership or channel management, business development, product or portfolio management, and owners or principals of merchant services businesses. You are likely to qualify if you are personally involved in selling Clover to merchants, managing the Clover relationship, or deciding which terminals and payment platforms your organisation puts in front of customers. If you have no direct commercial involvement with Clover or comparable POS and payment acceptance products, this study will not be a good fit.

The conversation will explore how POS and payment acceptance solutions are sold through the partner channel, including how partners decide which platforms to lead with, how merchants evaluate and choose between available options, and the commercial dynamics that shape those relationships. We will also discuss themes such as pricing and economics within the channel, hardware and software capabilities, service and support expectations, competitive alternatives in the market, merchant retention and switching behaviour, and how you see demand developing over the coming period. There are no right or wrong answers; we are simply interested in your professional perspective and first-hand experience.

The study takes the form of a structured telephone survey lasting approximately 20 minutes, conducted at a time convenient to you. Participants are compensated USD 150 for their time. The study is running over the coming weeks, and participation is confidential.
